William Trent, the founder of Trenton and first resident of the Trent House, immigrated to America from Scotland in the late 17th century. So each year, we host a celebration of Hogmanay, the traditional Scottish New Year festivity wherein friends and family gather to share good wishes for the upcoming year.

Hogmanay at the Trent House is held during Trenton’s Patriot’s Week. This year, it is scheduled between the two battle re-enactments, so you can make it an all day affair! It is a free event for the whole family.
