Presentation by Samuel Davis portraying George Washington

Followed by the debut of our Revolutionary War-themed tour of the Trent House Museum!

Hear this locally celebrated George Washington re-enactor discussing the effects of the Revolutionary War on this area. Sam Davis will take visitors back in time to the Revolutionary War and will share the experiences of George Washington, and show how influential Trenton was during the Revolution.

About the Presenter:

Samuel Davis has a great love of history and deep ties to the local community. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of New Jersey and two Master’s degrees. He is a science teacher and strength coach at Trenton Central High School. His involvement in local organizations includes being a Committeeman in Chesterfield, a Freemason and a member of the Sons of the American Republic. He is also passionate about history and is a re-enactor who portrays George Washington at many events and programs. He is the official “George Washington” at the Princeton Battlefield and at Summerseat in Morrisville, P.A., and has portrayed Washington at the Deleware River Crossing re-enactment on Christmas Day.
