Since the opening of the 1719 William Trent House Museum seventy-nine years ago, the Trent House Association has continuously provided programming and funding support for the Museum. The THA, a non-profit organization, was purposefully founded alongside the Museum as its perpetual caretaker. While the Trent House and its grounds are owned and maintained by the City of Trenton, the Museum is almost solely operated by the THA.
Through the generous support of our donors, the THA is able to develop and execute varied programs, events, interpretive aids and exhibits. We are actively engaged in ongoing research regarding the history of the Trent House and its residents—as well as the actions and events which formed that history—and we are committed to enhancing public knowledge and understanding of that history with our findings.
Each year, thousands of visitors tour the Trent House Museum, attend events, participate in programs and contribute to the THA’s collaborative efforts with other organizations and businesses in our community.
During the 2019 celebration of the 300th Anniversary of the Trent House, with your support, we hope to not only continue our full roster of events and programs, but also increase our community outreach and use of the site as a living historic resource. If you have personally found value in our events and programs, or if you value the continued preservation of this important historic site, please consider donating to our Annual Fund. All donations are tax-deductible.
Thank you so much, we appreciate your support!
